India is a multilingual country with diverse regional languages including Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, and Punjabi.

Random Talker does not have a language filter or language-selection dropdown. Matching is unfiltered and random. However, because many participants connecting from India speak Hindi or other regional Indian languages, you may encounter partners who speak Hindi, Hinglish, or your regional language depending on who is active at that moment.

When matched, you can simply ask your conversation partner which language they prefer. If you do not share a common language or want a different conversation, you can skip to a new partner immediately.

Voice conversations on Random Talker establish peer-to-peer audio connections using standard WebRTC technology, encrypted with DTLS-SRTP. Audio streams pass directly between participants and are never recorded, stored, or processed into audio archives by Random Talker.

In-call text messages are up to 280 characters, and pictures (up to 10 MB each) stay blurred until you tap to view them. Messages are ephemeral: messages sent during a call exist in volatile memory only for the active duration of that call and are permanently destroyed as soon as either user disconnects or skips.
